A: The safeguarding of your confidential information is BookMinders first priority. We have taken extraordinary measures to assure that the information that you entrust to us remains completely private.
How do we do this?
First and foremost, there is no use of e-mail in the transmission of client information. All information submitted by BookMinders customers is first scanned and uploaded to a secure server. All uploads and downloads are further protected through secure login and password protocols.

Q: How long does it take to get set up?
A: Once we have discussed what sort of systems and reports your business requires and you have provided us with all of the necessary information, it’s very efficient to get your business account up and active. The time required depends upon the reports you need and the size of your business. Your account will be functional in a few business days.
Q: How long will it take to get my books done?
A: If you consistently provide us the information required in a timely manner, monthly reporting is generally available in as little as 2 - 4 days.
Q: Where are your bookkeepers located?
A: All BookMinders Management and Project Managers are located in Canada. Our bookkeepers and primary level supervisors are located in India.
Q: What if I need to talk to somebody after hours?
A: We are always happy to speak with our clients. You can call us at our toll-free number 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. If you have an urgent question outside normal office hours, please e-mail us and we’ll have someone look into it right away. Even if we don’t have the answer for you immediately, we’ll get back to you within 24 hours to either answer your question or let you know the status of your inquiry.
Q: Is my information secure if I use an online service?
A: Absolutely! Our secure, encrypted file upload server can only be accessed by you, your BookMinders Project Manager and the staff who are dedicated to your business bookkeeping operations. Q: How much does it cost?
A: Each project is priced based on what you require. Each project has an initial set up cost and a fixed monthly fee thereafter. As long as your business requirements remain consistent, we guarantee to charge only the fixed monthly fee for a full year. Annually, we will review your business activities and consult with you about renewal of our service. For individual projects, we will discuss the project scope and agree upon a fee with each client.
Q: How do I pay?
A: In order to keep our costs down, we set up our customer accounts to automatically charge your credit card (Visa and MasterCard) each month so you never have to bother with a bill payment.
Q: How qualified are your staff?
A: Our personnel are qualified bookkeepers who meet professional standards of proficiency. Our supervisory staff are Chartered Accountants and Certified Public Accountants.
Q: We are a brand new business and have no systems, software or structures. Can you help us?
A: Yes! We have extensive experience with new business start-ups. We can get you on the right track so that your records are properly organized, set up in an organized and professional manner and ready for your year-end accountant.

A: Yes! Our staff comes with many years of experience with personal wealth clients. We utilize specialized Canadian software that tracks your investments for management purposes and allows your year-end accountant to provide timely tax planning and reporting.
